ParticipantThank you, George!
Our permalink structure is /%category%/%postname%/. I changed it briefly to /%postname%/ and it had no effect 🙁
I forgot to add that I’ve been running TEC/Pro since early 2015 and the Next/Previous (we renamed them Earlier/Later in our /tribe-events/list/nav.php (child theme) file) were working. I can’t nail down when it stopped working but I suspect it’s been recent, maybe when I upgraded to 3.12 in late September?

ParticipantAh! I have two repeat/end never events. I’ve just updated their recurrence rules to “daily”.
One interesting note, on the one class there were about 16 exclusions to specific dates in the past. Makes me wonder if those were the issue – they just didn’t translate when the plugin was updated, as you suspect.
The error log has been deleted and I will set a reminder for tomorrow to check it!
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Brian,
I can do the tests you request.
But, (with the caveat that I am NOT a php expert by any stretch of he imagination – purely self-taught by poking around), isn’t the error right here on line 1060:
$excluded = array_map( 'strtotime', self::get_excluded_dates( $event_id ) );And according to the php reference manual:
int strtotime ( string $time [, int $now = time() ] ) The function expects to be given a string containing an English date formati.e. the strtotime call is expecting an argument?
———-
I don’t have a suggestion about the other error though 🙁
———-Another curiosity. From Sept 27-Oct 6, every day, the strtotime error is being triggered at the same time each day, ie 05:30
[06-Oct-2015 05:30:03 UTC] PHP Warning: strtotime() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/soloentr/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence_Meta.php on line 1060except on Oct. 5th it was 05:18.
meaning something is triggering it around the same time each day. Which also means it has nothing to do with creating a new event or editing an existing one.
Also, the error is being logged maybe a dozen or so times with the same time stamp. And that string of a dozen strtotime errors is always followed by the second error (just one), also the same time stamp”
[06-Oct-2015 05:30:03 UTC] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/soloentr/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence_Meta.php on line 1098I can send you the error log if it would be helpful, right now it’s around 50k.
I’ll wait to hear from you, esp. since the tests you are asking for will take me some time…
🙂

ParticipantHere’s an interesting twist. I was on Events Calendar 3.12.2 and Pro 3.12.1. Once I updated (and saved) my license, both were showing an upgrade available. I updated Events Calendar, went back to update the Pro plugin and no updates are shown as available! License is still there.
As directed, I went to Dashboard > Updates; it shows that there IS an update available for Pro; back to Plugins, now the update is showing again. Clicked to update. All good, I’m now on 3.12.3/3.12.2 (btw, why don’t the release numbers match? Kinda confusing.)
License is still there.
For previous Pro updates, not knowing what else to do, I’ve updated manually (download, delete Pro, upload plugin). I didn’t pay attention before to the sequence, so I’m not sure at what point the license “disappeared”. Maybe after the manual update?

ParticipantI wonder if having an Events Calendar plugin update triggers something that makes the license key disappear. Not sure how to check for this except looking at the license key page every day until a plugin update is available – not very practical.

ParticipantOk, I forgot the “save changes” step – this time. But I know I’ve done this (save changes) in the past – at least the last two times there has been an Events Calendar plugin update, there is no corresponding Events Calendar Pro update noted, and when I go to Events > License, it is gone from that screen.

ParticipantI also have this problem – I’ve never been able to update the Pro plugin from within WordPress because the license never “sticks”! My WP guru says the license is in the database, so I’m not sure what is going on…

ParticipantHi,
- We have not added any new recurring events recently
- We *have* added non-recurring events without problem
- We have not noticed any issues on the front-end
Thanks!

ParticipantBrilliant, just what I was looking for! (to be able to display the tooltip text elsewhere.)
Thanks!

ParticipantDuh. Once I enabled All in One SEO the tags are there now. Oy.
Sorry y’all!

ParticipantWow part A was so simple – my Types/Access settings got changed such that Events weren’t readable except by Admins. Now at least Facebook (and hopefully y’all) can see the events: http://www.solo-e.com/newWP/class/how-to-create-an-authentic-magnetic-message-that-attracts-your-favorite-clients/2015-02-17/
But FB is still ignoring the og: tags that are right there…so I’m still going through the other plugins…

Participant- I just updated the plugin to 3.9.1 (not sure if it was EC or EC Pro but they are now both on 3.9.1)
- I flushed permalinks again.
- I changed to 2013 theme; no difference.
- I deactivated all plugins. Voila, I can see my event without being logged in (in another browser). I’m going to go through all 33 of my other plugins now… 🙁
