…and I just installed the new version of the plugin (2.0.9). Don’t know whether it was some magic that Tim did behind the scenes or the new plugin (or both) but I’ve got a gridview working! and widgets, too! They’re all unstyled at this point but that’s a quick-fix on my side of things and I could not be happier. Thanks for helping me through this process, guys! I wish that I could be more specific as to why it suddenly works, but that’s OK and I’m back to work! Thanks again!

    Hey Rob and Tim,
I got a few emails from Tim but I think that I missed the last one he says that he sent, after I gave credentials. In other words I’m not sure what his findings were. But I can try the gist?

    thanks, guys,

    Howdy, Gang,
I know everyone’s busy and I hate to push, but I was wondering whether you had any other ideas about this strange issue I’m having? I wish I knew more about what was happening to give anyone a clue! I really appreciate it,

    Paul,
Thanks for your help with this. I added the code to functions.php in a local test environment with some events in August but didn’t see anything new pop up. Just the ones that I had put into the system, and only in List view. Still nothing on the Calendar view.

For testing purposes, I’m sticking with the Default Events Template just in case something in my personal Events template is wonky.

Anything else I can try? Thanks again!

    Rob,
Again, thank you for your time. Unfortunately, I can’t get that view to work by changing the slug of the Events page, either. Tried using “calendar” as above, and even “entry”, to no avail.

Another clue, though: the TEC widget doesn’t populate with events, either. So it definitely sounds like I’m heading down farther into getting hands dirty with PHP. Which is fine! Would you mind bringing in a developer for me? I really appreciate your time and energy!

    Rob,
Sadly, no luck. I did as you suggested…changed the Events URL slug to “calendar” and the single event slug to “entry”, then resaved permalinks. Same issue! List view works great, nothing on the gridview, the jac.org/events still goes to a posts loop.

Sorry! Any other ideas? Thanks so much for your helping with this,

    M
