I am working with 3.0 and yes the event was created after I upgraded.

Seconded! This is happening to me as well. I wanted to create a recurring event for an event that took place last week, but continues for several weeks. Because the first instance is in the past, all future recurrences say “This event has passed.”

Hi ladies. I’ve had success just adding the styles I want to change to my theme’s css file.
