I saw there was a fix for this, but I am still experience issues myself after just updating to the latest version. Can you provide an update?
It appears to be working now. I saved Permalinks again, edited the event with details, refreshed, and it finally seemed to work (on the few events that were problematic).
My only final request would be to truncate the “Click to share” and its social links that are added to the bottom of the event post from its plugin. Is this possible?
I pasted the code from Line 8-38 at the very bottom of the functions file and it still doesn’t fix the issue.

I have been trying the code in the functions file but without success. I am not sure what’s the problem. There is also a _theme_settings/theme-functions.php and I am not sure if it is conflicting or overriding?
Well, sort of – is there a way to have the content show based on a time period instead of the amount of events? Any other suggestions?
So I discovered the amount of events that appear in iCal subscription is based on this setting:
General > General Settings > Number of events to show per page
Adding that event to Google Calendar produces cleaner results but with some spacing starting off with a bit of garbled text with the apostrophe. The iCal version leaves the shortcode in altogether.
