ParticipantAha, yes; it’s been such a part of our workflow for a while, that it didn’t even cross my mind.
We’re using post duplicator, and of course the logic would be in that plugin, so I’ll follow up with them. Thanks!

ParticipantAfter my reply, I tested this through tools.pingdom.com (reviewing the screenshot), and something seemed fishy, so I tried another computer in the house. The page does show correctly there, so I’m marking this as resolved and now glaring at both Safari and Chrome’s incognito window.
Unfortunately since the testing is retroactively suspect, I can’t pin down what fixed it.
Thanks for asking questions that brought clarity.

Participant@Barry I checked in Chrome through an Incognito window, and also in Safari; both show the same “unstyled” drop-down box as in the pic I posted; it also doesn’t work, nor does the event pop-over show.
In the browser inspector, I get errors in two files:
http://cdn.ourhost.ca/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/resources/tribe-events.min.js?ver=3.4.1
Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property ‘en’ of undefinedhttp://cdn.ourhost.ca/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/resources/tribe-events-pro.min.js?ver=3.4
Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘pro_tooltips’ of undefinedAnd, for the sake of thoroughness, I freshly purged both files while making this post and retested; still the same issue.

ParticipantSingle Event and Single venue both:

ParticipantI spoke too soon:
Besides not changing the google maps link, changing those values does not actually modify the map for us.
Even after updating the table, flushing all caches, flushing CDN for that page, disabling W3TC altogether, and verifying the database changes were still there at the end, changing _VenueLat and _VenueLng made no difference at all.It feels like the plugin is pulling the map based on the address every time.

ParticipantFor future reference, I found it:
In the wp_postemeta table the columns are “_VenueLat” and “_VenueLng”
Of course, these are tied to the post_id of the venuegatewaydevelopment
ParticipantMoved the discussion there.
Can you point us towards the database entry that holds the coordinates?
After that, this thread is closed; thanks!

ParticipantIf the degrees are stored in the database, would it be possible to have a spot for them in the admin side?
Google maps link: [Find automatically] | [Specify manually]
Since the embed code is just a re-formed maps link, this could solve both at once in an easy-to-understand way.

ParticipantYou were right on the money; we disabled the minification, and the menu was shown as expected.
While it’s not the responsibility of Modern Tribe, do you have any thoughts on how we can get W3-Total cache minification and The Events Calendar working together?
