ParticipantGood afternoon:
I am having the same issue. I’ve only added the reoccurring events to my December Calendar and as you can see from the image below, Saturday, December 3rd has two events listed. The one in blue is before the other one (start / end time) but it will not list in that order. both are listed as sticky events as well. This was working before the update I applied this morning. For November, I removed all the reoccurring events and manually put them in the calendar to show the proper listing according to start time in the full calendar grid.
If I backtrack to previous months, they are listed the same way. I thought it might be a ‘theme’ issue but switched to Twenty Ten and it’s the same way.
Any suggestions?

ParticipantThank you so much for the update! Could you share it with Barry and maybe he could then show me the best way to do it? Remember also that when the next update comes out, it may not have that in it….so save your coding changes. You’re more of a coder than I, my friend.

ParticipantBarry: Thanks for the information. I’m not a coding person so not sure where to begin with customizing. I appreciate the help!
Dan: Did you get it to work? or did you put in a feature request?

ParticipantI didn’t update anything was the same except for the updates to the Events Calendar. Sorry for the delay. My real job demanded weekend work 🙂
Is there a way you can compare 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 in the calendar and see what lines have changed? That is the only thing that didn’t work and it was regarding recurring events.

ParticipantUnfortunately, it still isn’t working since the update.
First, I disabled all plugins except for The Events Calendar & Events Calendar Pro. Changed the theme to Twenty Fifteen. Viewed the calendar and it was still messed up. I removed all the recurring events and entered two events on Sunday. The first one was from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm. The second one was 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm. The second one was listed last on the main calendar display but fine in the list. I reverted to a daily backup before the update to the calendar. The only updates I now have are for the 4.1.2 for the Event Calendar and Event Calendar Pro. Everything works fine. The only thing I didn’t do is completely uninstall the Event Calendar/Pro plugins and download new versions. But as of right now, I have the updates waiting but it works just fine 🙁 Hopefully you can find something out.

ParticipantThank you George for taking a look. The list view below the mini-calendar AND list view both list them in correct order. Just the actual calendar has them out of order.

ParticipantIt’s not gone. The previous version installed a LONG folder name for the Pro version. After the update, the pro version was deactivated. Once I activated it, the mini appeared just fine. This update finally renamed the folder to event-calendar-pro.
