I copied all the files to /themes/goinggreen/tribe-events/
Then I edited /themes/goinggreen/tribe-events/views/default-template.php using the code you gave me.
That didn’t work, so I tried…

I would prefer to customize the default events template by adding a sidebar. That seems easy enough – but what code would I use in the template php file?Thanks Jonah,

On this page (http://blondiestrophyroom.com/events/upcoming/?tribe-bar-date=2013-07) how do I change the background color of “July 2013” at the top under previous events and next events?
How do I change the background color where it says, “Free”?
And how do I change the black text color under the titles?

The first two worked, but I wasn’t able to change the background.
Also, now the “Events In” part is black, but how do I change the “Date” text under it? Or the calendar text that pops up when you click on it?
Last thing, how do I change the “View As” part to black text?
