ParticipantHi Barry & thanks, that does sound like an option & I’m sure would work for my client. I’m not sure how one would go about achieving this though!
Whilst we have made some customizations, we have hidden the *future* recurring events using the ‘Hide From Upcoming Events List’ option in the Event Options’ panel.

ParticipantAnother quick question to add to the above, I know this plugin is specifically for ‘Events’ but is it possible to change the custom post type to another type, ie: classes.
thanks.

ParticipantHi Barry, no, here’s a scenario which might help…
My client sets up an event that is recurring but only wants to display this event ONCE in the event list, the other events are shown in the calendar view but hidden from the list. The first event is displayed in the list, however when the date of that even has passed, the event is removed from the list (archived). This means that none of the events are being displayed & the user has to manually display the next event (by unticking the ‘Hide from event list’ box)… which can be tricky if they are not in the office all the time.
Basically, I wondered if it was possible to stop events from being archived, so when the date of each event has passed – they remain in the event list to be manually removed by admin later.
Does this make sense?
Thanks.
