What would solve this problem is the ability for searches to go right to LIST mode. We don’t want to show our calendar in list mode initially, but we don’t want it to search in month only mode either. How can we accomplish this?

When a user does a search, if there are results beyond the current month, go to list mode (or even a switch on the search bar telling the user as such).

This is absolutely crazy to me… I cannot understand why anyone would only want to search within what they can see on the screen. The purpose of a calendar is to find events. If this software cannot let people search throughout the calendar, what is the search feature for?

I also cannot imagine why this would not be a priority feature for the software. Is this something in development? I would hate to spend time and money implementing a modification to the code only to have it be replaced in the near future.

What assistance can the company give in making these mods? Is there any direction the development team can help with?

We paid for the calendar and the filter bar. Now I am questioning if the client will even accept this as a solution.
