thanks for all your suggestions. I would up turning all plugins off and going through 1 by 1 and found another plugin that was running query ui which seems to be what the conflict was.

Hey Barry,

I should have thought of this before, I did customizations in a tribe-events folder in my theme, when I rename this folder so it’s not being utilized at all the month view is fixed. I then isolated the issue to the months folder which didn’t have any customizations in it but the issue still is happening on the single view pages which is surprising to me. Are there any changes with theme customizations from 3.5 version when we integrated the pro plugin in to the site that you can think of that could be a problem?

Sorry, I had tested on live site. So on staging area with just genesis theme running it is working. So there could be a conflict with a combo of theme and another plugin(?).

Hi Barry,

I set up a staging site with wp-engine and de-activated all plugins except the ones we’re discussing and using 2013 theme there isn’t a conflict.

I then re-activated the theme we’re using and the conflict reoccurred.

So I think we can narrow it down to there being a theme conflict with month view.

I can’t really turn off all plugins and go back to normal theme because then there wouldn’t be any thing to test and I need all the plugins running, but if I go to any other page on the website or the events page in list view the shift nav works. You can see this happening in the video I sent or experience it yourself by going to the page on a mobile device. Also see the original where the developer of shift nav gives the error he’s seeing.

If we aren’t able to trouble-shoot why this is happening the possibility of remove the month view only on mobile devices (or smaller) breakpoints would be a solution.

You are seeing it correctly. The problem is in month view there is a conflict that is keeping the shift nav javascript from executing. If you watch the video i attached you can see how it doesn’t work in month view but does in list view.

I’m not sure if I said map view somewhere in the thread, I meant month view.

It happens on the page http://starfiredev.wpengine.com/events/. If you resize the browser the shift nav opens from the left. Sometimes on the desktop it seems to work but it never works on a mobile device.

I’ve mad a movie where you can see what happens, http://starfiredev.wpengine.com/events-shift.mov (please download if doesn’t play in browser). Basically when you click on the three lines in the top left the menu opens up from the side. This doesn’t work in map view but does in list view.

It works on all other pages on our site except the page with map view.

thanks, I see why i’m confused, I think there is a conflict in the uber-menu, if you look at the url I sent in private email there is a singular widget in footer area that shows the link but when added to uber-menu the link doesn’t appear with the widget (hover over events).

If I did decide to create a separate template fore each widget is their a naming convention so that I could choose the correct widget in wordpress backend. I already have a single modified template at theme/tribe-events/widgets/list-widget.php.

Hi, I can confirm that I am still having issues with this on Genesis Framework with the Metro Theme. I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same issue as previous, for me, the header titles are getting removed on blog archive pages when going to pages beyond the first page of posts, i.e. if I have 3 posts and set blog settings to show one per page, when I go to the 2nd and third post pages the titles are missing (the same would be true if set to 2 per page, titles for first two show up on first page but no title on second page with the 3rd blog post).
