Hi all.<\/p>\n

I’m trying to set up a system to track upcoming media releases, and what I’m wanting\/needing to do is have the option where visitors can search for specific kinds of metadata about the calendar entries. In order to do this, I need to add that specific data to said entries.<\/p>\n

Example: Let’s say I put “Movie X” in as an event. I want to be able to special that its “Format” is “Blu-Ray” and “DVD”, that its “Genre” is “Horror” and “Action”, and so on. Then, a visitor could come to my site and, say, search for anything on Blu-Ray that’s horror.<\/p>\n

I know that the Pro option lets you add additional details to events, but my question is, can I then select some of those new details to be part of the Filter Bar’s drop-down menus? Like, instead of “Organizer”, could I then have a “Format” dropdown, and a “Genre” dropdown, if those are things that I’ve set up for events?<\/p>\n

I know I can know everything under the Category dropdown, but that would be an absolute mess to use.<\/p>\n
