Created events from events &gt; add new<br \/>\n2. Taken care of the main settings (Default Events Template, event views, etc) and saved<\/p>\n<p>RESULT= <strong>404 Not Found<\/strong> or both Calendar view and Single Event view<\/p>\n<p><em>SECOND ATTEMPT<\/em><br \/>\n3. Toggled between the different views and options (<em>tried them all<\/em>)<br \/>\n4. Added <a href=\"https:\/\/gist.github.com\/elimn\/877bc90421526d22900b\">this snippet<\/a> in the functions.php file<br \/>\n5. Flushed permalinks as advised everywhere in the related forums<br \/>\nRESULT= Same as above<\/p>\n<p><em>THIRD ATTEMPT<\/em><br \/>\n6. Changed <strong>Events URL slug<\/strong> and Single event URL slug to something totally different<br \/>\n7. Flushed permalinks<br \/>\nRESULT= a. Main Calendar view page <em><strong>SORTED<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nb. Single event page <strong>404 NOT FOUND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>FORTH ATTEMPT<\/em><br \/>\n8. A combination of <a href=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/knowledgebase\/fixing-http-404-errors\/\">all possible solutions<\/a> for hours and hours<br \/>\nRESULT= 0<\/p>\n<p>after many nerve wrecking attempts and a weekend gone&#8230;<br \/>\n9. Bought the Events Calendar PRO<br \/>\n10.
