Hi,<\/p>\n

We recently received this report from one of our users that there’s an error parsing the iCal files. Is this a known issue or something that’s related to our installation of ECP? If the latter, any suggestions for how it can be fixed? Thank you.<\/p>\n

I’ve been finding that I am not able to directly import the exported ical file into Google Calendar.<\/p>\n

It appears there may need to be additional validation to ensure that the ical files are in the proper format.<\/p>\n

For example, I am trying to import the following URL into Google directly:
\nhttp:\/\/www.coolrunning.com\/eventcal\/events\/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=list&tribe-bar-geoloc-lat=42.4719938&tribe-bar-geoloc-lng=-70.93981919999999&tribe-bar-geoloc=01902&tribe_eventcategory%5B%5D=162&tribe_geofence=25&ical=1&tribe_display=list<\/p>\n

Google returns an error message starting with the following:
\n“Failed to add imported calendar at” ….<\/p>\n

I verified that the ical format is invalid by running it through a 3rd party validator tool:

The validator tool indicates that the ical file cannot be parsed.<\/p>\n
