Hi there, I am thinking about buy the ticket plugin for wordpress but want
\nto make sure it will do what I need it to do first. We are starting a
\nobstacle race company and need the booking form to be able to cope with the
\nfollowing. <\/p>\n
1. Distance. On most events there will be a short and long
\nversion of the race. So essentially, it’s like having two races (or events)
\non the same day and people will need to be able to book into whichever one
\nthey fancy. I assume that is easy enough – we would just create different
\nevents. <\/p>\n
2. Individual or Team. Some people will just enter on their own.
\nThat will be pretty straightforward. Others though will wish to enter as
\npart of a team. The best way of doing this we’ve seen is that one person
\ncreates a team. They select team name. They book themselves in (and pay) in
\nthe normal fashion. They also provide the names and email addresses of the
\nother people they want in the team. The system emails these people, tells
\nthem they’ve been nominated and asks them to register and pay. They are
\nthen linked with that team. The reason for getting people to sign up
\nindividually is so they see and ‘sign’ the waiver. The teams can be any
\nsize from 2 to infinity. There may be a slightly cheaper individual price
\nfor signing up as part of a team. Is this possible to customise within the
\nfields. <\/p>\n
3. Wave time The entrants will be sent off in waves of around 50
\npeople at 15 minute intervals. People need to be able to select which wave
\nthey’d like to be in. The waves will be numbered and the approximate start
\ntime listed. Is this possible to create as a custom field? <\/p>\n
4. Timing Option
\nOn some races we will provide an option to be timed (Some people prefer not
\nto be) so we need to be able to indicate this. Can we add a custom tick box
\nfield for this? <\/p>\n
5. T-Shirt Size We will be giving away a free t-shirt with
\neach ticket and people need to be able to select their size. If you could
\nlet me know if we would need an additional plugin to make this happen. <\/p>\n
