Hi All,<\/p>\n

Our theme uses a “standard” WordPress search box and associated “search.php” template to display the results and all our “normal” posts and pages are returned if relevant to the search query.<\/p>\n

What I’d like to do is filter the results (or pre-adjust the query) so that those Events returned relevant to the search query are –<\/p>\n

1) if single event, those on today and in the future only.
\n2) if recurring, just show one<\/strong> event, whether that be today, or the next nearest one in the future (otherwise the search results get swamped with all the recurring events)<\/p>\n

Has anyone got any ideas ?<\/p>\n

Presently experimenting with “pre_get_posts” hook to no avail.
