We\u2019ve recently become aware of a change in WooCommerce<\/a> (as of version 2.3.0<\/strong>) that has a visual effect on the WooTickets form, where the ticket quantity controls appear to be missing in Chrome and IE.<\/p>\n

Here is how the controls appear before the WooCommerce update:<\/p>\n

Notice that the arrows you’d use to change the quantity have been removed. This change is referenced in\u00a0the WooCommerce release notes for 2.3.0<\/a>:<\/p>\n

> The +\/- quantity increment buttons \u2013 type=\u201dnumber\u201d is well supported making this feature redundant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The WooTickets plugin inherits the styling used by WooCommerce for the quantity controls and since those styles have been deprecated, so to have the styles used in the ticket form.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, this has no impact on the actual functionality of the ticket form. Your visitors are will able to specify a number of tickets and add them to the cart. The difference is purely visual and depends on the browser being used now that WooCommerce relies on the browser defaults for styling.<\/p>\n

If you would prefer to have quantity controls by default, there\u2019s a handy plugin that does that<\/a>. The plugin is managed and supported by another developer, but we have tested the current version (1.0.0) and it does indeed add controls back to the product forms, including tickets.<\/p>\n
