I have a website for tour dates of various bands and am looking at upgrading the calendar services. The Events Calendar looks great but I want to make sure it will do all that I want with the appropriate add-ons.<\/p>\n

These are the requirements:<\/p>\n

1. Customized info in calendar view along with Event (For example, “NY: Rush Tour 2015”.) On the free version there does not seem to be an option to modify what information is displayed on the calendar view. This is crucial as this website is for all of the United States and Canada, for many different bands, tours, and festivals, and there are already over 10 different tours going on each day in different states, which would make the calendar view impossible to decipher.<\/p>\n

2. Searchable by band<\/strong>, venue\/state\/city, type of event. I see Filter Bar allows for sorting of “Event Category, post tag, venue, organizer, day of the week, time of day, and price”, does this mean that each band would have to be a Tag? Would ‘Tour’ and ‘Festival’ be the Event Category? <\/p>\n

3. ‘Notify Me when a tour is added for my City \/ State’ I am currently using MailChimp for my mailing list, which is simply a weekly newsletter type and I would like to offer customized notifications – do you offer this type of service?<\/p>\n

4. It looks like with everything I want to do, including Community Events and a ticketing add-on, I’m looking at having to purchase at least 3 of your add-ons. Do you offer any sort of multi-add-on discount?<\/p>\n
