It appears this was intended.

I love the styles applied to the event list items in the mini calendar widget. However, I don’t want the calendar, I just want the list.

In one thread, it was suggested to use the mini-calendar and remove the calendar via CSS or template override. None of these work for me, however, since the mini-calendar list only shows events for the current month. I need upcoming events to be show in sequence, regardless of the month they fall under.

Upon testing, I found that if I put BOTH widgets in (that is, the mini-calendar widget and the upcoming events widget), the styles for the mini-calendar applied to the upcoming list. I figured I could go and hide the calendar widget altogether with a display:none, and viola.

However, I don’t like having to enable something, only to have to disable/hide it at some other point, especially something like the calendar, which would steal load time.

Is there an easy way to apply mini-calendar event item CSS to the upcoming events widget?

["post-927006","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry

Applying Mini-Calendar widget styling to Upcoming Events widget -

<meta property="og:description" content="I have a sidebar, in which I would like to place an Upcoming Events widget.
