However, what you get isn’t very useful for our purposes. We need a cleaner export. (See example below.)

What we’d like to do is either be able to import events from a text file or be able to export events into a text file. The reason why is, we have print editions of our various publications. These pubs also carry an events calendar so we’d like to be able to have a single point of entry for events. For example, we could enter all events into your plug-in and then later export these for use in print. Alternatively, we could enter all events into a text document and then import them into the plug-in. We’d prefer entering into the plug-in.

Is there a way to do that which we are unaware of or, do you anticipate being able to offer this functionality in the future. I would think other people would also find this a useful function.

Thanks. I look forward to hearing from you.

Pat

— EXAMPLE —

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
METHOD:PUBLISH
VERSION:2.0
X-WR-CALNAME:Test Import
PRODID:-//Apple Inc.//Mac OS X 10.9.5//EN
X-APPLE-CALENDAR-COLOR:#F64F00
X-WR-TIMEZONE:America/Los_Angeles
CALSCALE:GREGORIAN
BEGIN:VEVENT
TRANSP:OPAQUE
DTEND:20141204T190000
UID:3260-1417716000-1417719600@http://www.mountbakerexperience.com
DTSTAMP:20141027T233346Z
LOCATION:1209 11th Street
DESCRIPTION:A 45-50 minute run on a variety of local trails led by store
staff.
