Hi, we have the pro calendar plus the Community Events add-on. When activating the Access Control, and just clicking on “Calendar User” for Roles to Block, no user, regardless of level, can access the http:\/\/oursite.com\/wp-admin login page, as it redirects EVERYONE – not just the checked level(s) – to whatever is set in the plug-in addon’s redirect URL setting without even giving an opportunity to prove our worthiness as an authorized level user. Is it supposed to do that? Figured a work-around of having the redirect set to go to the calendar list page where at least there is a login form, even if it’s a little clunky and confusing for users who aren’t necessarily coming for the calendar, but at least it’s not looping back to the homepage anymore (can also use the \/wp-login.php, but that requires letting all users know to go there instead of their normal, expected wp-admin.) Have done the recommended diagnostic tests – turning off all other plugins except the calendar, pro and community events add-on, revert to default 2011 theme, tried on 2 separate (Mac) computers, 2 browsers (Firefox and Safari), 3 different users with different levels. Consistently same results. Do you have any suggestions of how I can fix this, or at least a better work-around? If this is how it’s actually supposed to work, I would put in a feature request that there be a way to block the dashboard access to the checked blocked level(s) without blocking the wp-admin login page, if at all possible.
