To try and make sure we end the year on as high a note as possible, we&#8217;ve just released the latest maintenance build for the majority of our products &#8212; the final monthly maintenance release for 2013! Next time you log in, you&#8217;ll probably see update prompts for 3.3 on all the following plugins &#8212;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Events Calendar<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Events Calendar PRO<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Community Events<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Facebook Events<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Eventbrite Tickets<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>WooCommerce Tickets<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>EDD Tickets<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><\/strong>There was no update for WPEC Tickets or the recently-launched Shopp Tickets this time around. In terms of specific updates, each plugin got the following:<\/p>\n<h3>The Events Calendar 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved support for international date formats<em> (big props to jeroenjoosen on the forums for the original report on this!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Localization improvements for displaying the event cost field<em> (thanks to mastafu on the forums for the heads up!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>List view will now link to a page of previous events if there are indeed previous events to show<em> (props to oceanfilm on the forums for pointing this out!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue with empty category views that could result in a fatal error <em>(thanks to mastafu on the forums for this one, too!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue where titles for single events were empty in some installations<\/li>\n<li>Fixes for the tribe_get_the_day_link_date() function <em>(thanks to @nathanielks on Twitter for catching + patching this one for us!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed admin menu highlighting when editing tags for events<\/li>\n<li>Google maps will now be included properly on pages with https URLs<em> (thanks to bmitchellini on the forums for the first report here!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Tag queries that don&#8217;t specify a post type will no longer be modified to be an events query<em> (thanks to Jason on the forums for reporting this first!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue that caused some events not to show on month view when viewing a category <em>(thanks to yorkshiretots on the forum for catching this!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>All day events are now saved with a start\/end time that is determined by the end of day cutoff. This fix will not modify previously created all day events <em>(thanks to wallyglenn on the forums for spotting this!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed a lot of strings that were not getting included in our language files and updated our POT file<\/li>\n<li>Removed an invalid iCal link from the markup to prevent it being indexed by search engines <em>(Thanks to Kevin Lisota for the original report!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed an XSS vulnerability in the Tribe Bar <em>(Mega props to Yasser Khan and Chuck Tsang for the research and responsible disclosure!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Implemented performance improvements in some queries for large amounts of data<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug that was making our date pickers ignore the start-of-the-week setting in WordPress core <em>(thanks to Katarina for the original report!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Added CSS classes to the list widget events <em>(thanks to Andy Fragen for requesting these!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed some small CSS bugs<\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated German translation files, courtesy of Oliver Heinrich<\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated French translation files, courtesy of Bastien BC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Events Calendar PRO 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue with featured venue widget not returning expected results in all conditions <em>(thanks to millcreekpark on the forums for the heads up here!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Calendar widget improvements: query clean up and end-of-day-cutoff setting respected <em>(thanks to davecfraser from the forums for the original report on this front!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Map view pagination improved<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug that caused events to disappear when changing the time for an existing series <em>(thanks to Denise Crosbie on the forums for the first report here!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Patched a bug that caused multiple instances of recurring events to fail to display<em> (thanks to mastafu on the forums for reporting this!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed an issue with the display of multi-day events in week view<\/li>\n<li>Map view now respects the selected category<em> (thanks to mindful on the forums for originally reporting this!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug that caused the &#8220;Show only the first instance of each recurring event&#8221; setting to affect the &#8220;See all&#8221; page for recurring events<\/li>\n<li>The TribeField class no longer uses the extract() function<\/li>\n<li>Deactivating ECP will now also deactivate the default content settings (they will be restored if you reactivate ECP)<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a JavaScript issue on APM that was breaking some users installs<em> (thanks to user tsdexter for the report and patch!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Added CSS classes to the list widget events <em>(thanks to Andy Fragen for requesting these!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated German translation files, courtesy of Oliver Heinrich<\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated French translation files, courtesy of Bastien BC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Community Events 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Community now uses the same events template setting as core plugin views<\/li>\n<li>Default Events Template can now be chosen to display the submission form etc (this was not previously allowed)<\/li>\n<li>User-submitted data is more thoroughly scrubbed for malicious data<\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated German translation files, courtesy of Oliver Heinrich<\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated French translation files, courtesy of Bastien BC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eventbrite Tickets 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Featured images on events posts will now be included in the Custom Header field under the &#8220;Design&#8221; tab on Eventbrite<\/li>\n<li>The first image in the Custom Header field under the &#8220;Design&#8221; tab on Eventbrite will now be set as the featured image on events that are imported from Eventbrite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WooCommerce Tickets 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Added a \u201cYou\u2019ll receive your tickets in another email&#8221; string to language file <em>(thanks to user tw005978 on the forums for the original report!)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Incorporated new Catalan translation files, courtesy of Jordi Divins<\/li>\n<li>Incorporated updated French translation files, courtesy of Bastien BC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>EDD Tickets 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Updated inconsistent version number<\/li>\n<li>Addressed an issue where the Licenses tab (under Events -&gt; Settings -&gt; Licenses) would not show for users who weren\u2019t running the PRO add-on <em>(thanks to robertlilly on the forums for reporting this!)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Facebook Events 3.3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Incorporated updated French translation files, courtesy of Bastien BC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What&#8217;s next?<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0After taking a slight break for the holidays, we&#8217;re going to pick up where we left off on our broader events roadmap. We&#8217;ve got lots of cool stuff in store for early 2014: redoing recurrence, launching responsive layouts and getting our Filter Bar add-on out the door are our top priorities&#8230;but we&#8217;ve got a few tricks up our sleeve that we can&#8217;t wait to share you with too.
