We allow anonymous event submissions using the Community Events plugin. Our editors then review and publish the event.<\/p>\n

When submitted anonymously, the community events plugin defaults to the first author (alphabetically) in our WP users list. This particular author does not make sense as the author for that event. We need the ability to set a default author for anonymously-submitted events.
