{"id":68728,"date":"2013-10-02T00:46:05","date_gmt":"2013-10-02T07:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tri.be\/support\/forums\/topic\/latest-update-changes-my-homepage\/"},"modified":"2015-07-07T06:29:15","modified_gmt":"2015-07-07T13:29:15","slug":"latest-update-changes-my-homepage","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/latest-update-changes-my-homepage\/","title":{"rendered":"Latest update changes my homepage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I keep your plugin pretty up to date but as soon as I applied the most recent update (3.1), somehow, the plugin completely changed my homepage removing the original content and displaying what appears to be a timeline view of all blog posts, including the events created with Events Calendar Pro.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as I disabled the plugin the homepage returned to normal and with additional tests I also detected that if I unchecked the checkbox for &#8220;Include events in main blog loop&#8221; I could maintain the plugin active without it affecting my homepage. Notice that this checkbox was active before the upgrade and there was no issue with the homepage, and I do want the event posts in my main blog loop, but my homepage is not based on the blog loop.
