I work for a company that has purchased the community events add-on for one of our client’s sites. They don’t remember their password and I would rather just get an answer from you so I posted here. I have noticed at least 2 other posts in the forums regarding this issue, but I don’t think they were stated clearly. When we ‘block access to WP admin’ and select the role to be blocked, it completely blocks the wp-admin login page, the ONLY way to log in as admin is to go to the add event page which prompts a login there, log in as the admin and THEN we can get to the wp admin dashboard – it completely blocks ANY level from getting to the admin login page – I understand it’s supposed to block the admin bar, but it redirects EVERYONE from the wp-admin login page which becomes a problem if we want the front end users (community) to not have access to the wp dashboard but the admin has to figure out how to get into the administration – just telling them to login as an admin does not tell them how to do that without the login page.
