\nI’m interested in the PRO version of the plugin for a client, but I’ve run into problems just getting the free Events Calendar working, so I’m hesitant to buy until I get a few things clarified. I’ve installed it on a number of other sites already without problems, so what I’m seeing here is odd. However, there are two (or more) things potentially at play here:<\/p>\n

1) The server is on an old Windows server. The URL given by default by the plugin is http:\/\/www.myurl.edu\/required-subfolder\/index.php\/events\/
\nCould the issue have something to do with the “\/index.php\/” in the URL? I seem to remember that Windows servers, without some rewrite module installed, had to use this in the URL. Or, is it that the “events” part of the URL is not the first directory in the URL? I also seem to remember that your plugin *has* to be in the first directory. I’m hoping that’s not the case, but I think it might be. This site does, unfortunately, live in a subfolder. If you think this is the problem, is there any workaround?<\/p>\n

2) The previous developer built the site on the Alyeska theme (http:\/\/themeforest.net\/item\/alyeska-responsive-wordpress-theme\/164366). Do you have any known incompatibilities with this or other themes?<\/p>\n
