I am helping a client who hosts events that feature Authors, and once a year do a book festival. In the past, we have set up the authors (organizers), which includes some additional custom fields. There are a lot of authors, and what the client would like to do is create a simple sign-up form that would allow them to register themselves. <\/p>\n
I am posting here because I know that the Community Events feature does something similar. However, we wouldn’t want them to create an event, we would only want them to create their own user account, with custom fields for a bio pic & book cover, etc. <\/p>\n
