I am trying to create an RSS feed for a MailChimp campaign that excludes a specific category of events. I have tried this syntax:<\/p>\n

http:\/\/site.com\/calendar\/feed?tribe_events_cat=-[cat id]
\nand
\nhttp:\/\/site.com\/calendar\/feed?tribe_events_cat=-[cat slug]<\/p>\n

but neither works<\/p>\n

I’ve also tried http:\/\/site.com\/feed?post_type=tribe_events&tribe_events_cat=-[cat id] and this also does not work<\/p>\n

However, the basic RSS feed http:\/\/site.com\/feed?cat=-[cat id] does work for blog posts to exclude a blog category.<\/p>\n

I don’t want to exclude the posts from the main events RSS feed for the site – I only need to exclude them for this MailChimp RSS feed campaign, which sends out every week.<\/p>\n
