If there is a particular day that has more events than can be displayed, a “View all # Events” link is displayed. So far so good!

Now the problems:

1) If I click the “view all” link for the current month, it takes me to http://myurl/cal/YYYY-MM–DD/
— I believe this is wrong as it takes me away from the page where [tribe_events] shortcode is embedded, but at least it works.

2) If I navigate one month ahead and click “view all” for a day with too many events, it takes me to http://myurl/private-page/?date=2017-12-07&tribe_event_display=day
— This simply does not work. It switches into “day” view but the date is incorrect. It’s almost as if it’s not even reading the date and instead just using today’s date. In my example above I chose to see all events for December 7 2017 and the message on screen is “No events scheduled for November 20, 2017. Please try another day.”

Possible resolution?:

I was able to get the correct page to display (and stay embedded) by manually adjusting the URL’s date parameter to use “tribe-bar-date” instead of “date”: http://myurl/private-page/?tribe-bar-date=YYYY-MM-DD&tribe_event_display=day

Regards,
Marco

["post-1387350","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry

View All # Events Broken when using [tribe_events] -

<meta property="og:description" content="Hello!
