First we deleted all the events for September and October 2017 from the Events Calendar. Next we imported the .ics file. The events show properly when we click \u201cPreview\u201d. Next we selected 40 or less events to import from Preview. The problem is that each time, we see a message such as this: \u201c2 new events were imported, 38 existing events were updated.\u201d However the 38 events do not exist, and there is nothing to purge.
