First up, thanks for a great family of products &#8211; I&#8217;ve used your plugins before, with great results. I&#8217;m hoping this time round will be no different.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m currently building an events website for a client. The event they need me to configure if fairly complex, and working out the best way forward has me scratching my head. I&#8217;m hoping you can help out!<\/p>\n<p>FYI, the site I&#8217;m building currently includes The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and WooCommerce.<\/p>\n<p>Key points about the event:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The event runs for four days, with a different workshop on each day<\/li>\n<li>Customers can choose to attend any or all of the four workshops<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a limit of 20 attendees total per workshop<\/li>\n<li>The tickets come in 1, 2, 3 or 4 day bundles, with increasing discounts for the bigger bundles. (A 1-day ticket is $97; a 2-day ticket is $177; a 3-day ticket is $257; a 4-day ticket is $327)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I was fine for the first three points. I&#8217;ve set up an event spanning four days. I&#8217;ve then set up four ticket types for the event (imaginatively named &#8220;Day 1&#8221;, &#8220;Day 2&#8221;, &#8220;Day 3&#8221;, and &#8220;Day 4&#8221;), each with a stock of 20.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m just not sure how to set up the bundle discounts while still remaining able to impose a per-day attendee limit. I considered setting up four tickets (&#8220;1-Day&#8221;, &#8220;2-Day&#8221;, &#8220;3-Day&#8221;, and &#8220;4-Day&#8221;), then converting them to variable WooCommerce Products, with 1, 2, 3, and 4 variations respectively, with each day as an option for each variation &#8211; but of course that wouldn&#8217;t let me limit the attendees per day. I&#8217;d only be able to limit how many of each bundle was sold.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also considered using one of the product bundling extensions available for WooCommerce &#8211; eg. Composite Products (https:\/\/woocommerce.com\/products\/composite-products\/) or Mix and Match (https:\/\/woocommerce.com\/products\/woocommerce-mix-and-match-products\/), both of which seem like they might approach the kind of functionality I&#8217;m after. I&#8217;m jost not sure how well they&#8217;d integrate with Event Calendar\/Tickets.<\/p>\n<p>The third potential solution I&#8217;m considering is the third-party &#8220;WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing &amp; Discounts&#8221; tool (https:\/\/codecanyon.net\/item\/woocommerce-dynamic-pricing-discounts\/7119279); I thought I might be able to add the tickets for each day to a group, then apply three &#8220;Discount if X products from group&#8221; rule using that tool.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m on a fairly tight turnaround time, and the client is reluctant to spend too much more on paid WordPress plugins or extensions. So, I can&#8217;t spend too long mucking around with different options. I can look at purchasing the WooCommerce extensions, and requesting a refund if they don&#8217;t pan out, but that&#8217;s time lost if they don&#8217;t &#8211; and CodeCanyon&#8217;s refund policy isn&#8217;t nearly as generous, so trying that solution is even more of a gamble!<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m hoping you can help me out of this pickle. Is there an option in Event Tickets that I could potentially use to solve this, that I&#8217;ve somehow missed?
