{"id":1329975,"date":"2017-08-03T05:50:22","date_gmt":"2017-08-03T12:50:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/a-continuous-question-about-a-repeat-event-option\/"},"modified":"2017-08-03T05:50:22","modified_gmt":"2017-08-03T12:50:22","slug":"a-continuous-question-about-a-repeat-event-option","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/a-continuous-question-about-a-repeat-event-option\/","title":{"rendered":"A continuous question about a repeat event option"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi!<\/p>\n<p>I just upgraded to The Events Calendar PRO so I could set a recurring annual event that started on a date from long ago.<\/p>\n<p>According to my question on the next link<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s a link to the discussion with Barry:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"SIu26tu67X\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/recurring-events-yearly-option\/\">Recurring Events yearly Option<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Recurring Events yearly Option&#8221; &#8212; \" src=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/recurring-events-yearly-option\/embed\/#?secret=o6ISfp3QZQ#?secret=SIu26tu67X\" data-secret=\"SIu26tu67X\" width=\"580\" height=\"327\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nWhere the message was locked.<\/p>\n<p>The events I created on this site were created in 2015<br \/>\nNow there is a desire for these events to be &#8220;forever&#8221; without the need to create the event each year &#8211; but the event will be renewed every year and will appear.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I realized that I should use the option of &#8220;Recurring Events&#8221;<br \/>\nSo I came to the 2015 event<br \/>\nI made a choice of going back every year<br \/>\nAnd in the &#8220;Series ends&#8221; option I chose &#8220;Never&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, I went into the Events &gt; Settings in the General tab  and added to the resume every 24 months.<\/p>\n<p>Once I do this I can not find the event anymore &#8211; it is deleted from all places.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the date and year have been added to the Permalink.
