I was asked to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.  I created a duplicate of the site in a subdirectory and used Interconnect IT&#8217;s newest search and replace script to update the URLs.  I activated the Twenty Fourteen parent theme and deactivated all plugins with the exception of The Event Calendar.  The latest working version of TEC installed in the dashboard was v4.3.4.2.  All updates beginning with v4.4.0.1 have caused the event tooltip for grid\/month view to stop working for any password protected events with a featured image.  The tooltip works fine for events that are not password protected, and it also works for protected events that do not have a featured image selected. <\/p>\n<p>I have been actively clearing my browser&#8217;s cache throughout this testing AND generating new salts for the config file to ensure caching isn&#8217;t part of the issue.   I have also tried removing and resetting the featured image for events; with no effect.  The only way to enable tooltips for protected events is to remove the featured image; but this isn&#8217;t a viable solution.<\/p>\n<p>There are a bunch of other update related issues, but I&#8217;m trying to nail this down first.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
