{"id":1319361,"date":"2017-07-11T00:10:04","date_gmt":"2017-07-11T07:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/updating-from-events-calendar-pro-version-1-3-by-shane-peter-inc\/"},"modified":"2017-07-11T00:10:04","modified_gmt":"2017-07-11T07:10:04","slug":"updating-from-events-calendar-pro-version-1-3-by-shane-peter-inc","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/updating-from-events-calendar-pro-version-1-3-by-shane-peter-inc\/","title":{"rendered":"Updating from Events Calendar Pro Version 1.3 | By Shane &amp; Peter, Inc."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi there,<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m rebuilding a very old website that is running Events Calendar Pro Version 1.3 | By Shane &amp; Peter, Inc. and would like to update the plugin to the current version while retaining the event database.<\/p>\n<p>The site is running the above version of the plugin, and has two folders in its plugin structure &#8211; <strong>events-calendar-premium<\/strong>, which seems to be the actual plugin and <strong>Events_Calendar_Pro<\/strong>, which looks like it&#8217;s left over from a previous plugin upgrade that took it to the 1.3 version.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a bit stuck, because the plugin has changed names a few times and I&#8217;m not sure how to update it to current while retaining the events and their details.
