Hello there,<\/p>\n

I am using the free version of events calendar. I also use the “Custom Sidebars \u2013 Dynamic Widget Area Manager” to define which sidebars should be used where. I can set the options to show a sidebar on event-pages as well as event archives and event category archives – but ….<\/p>\n

… there are some issues to it and I am trying to figure out, what exactly it is. One symptom is, that it does not work when a category is displayed. Now I am wondering: I do have a german version and the link has this format:<\/p>\n

https:\/\/smysite\/kategorie\/title_of_category\/<\/p>\n

Please note, that in the URL the german word “kategorie” is used. On blog pages of my site it would be “category”. I wonder if that could be the reason, why I am having trouble?<\/p>\n

Is there a way to change the way these links are created, namely to change the word kategorie to category?<\/p>\n

There is another problem, when there is no new event. Then it will also not show the correct sidebar. And I have no clue what that could be …. But if you could help me with the “category” – that would already be amazing!<\/p>\n
