{"id":1268640,"date":"2017-04-11T19:45:33","date_gmt":"2017-04-12T02:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/4-4-5-menus-broken-wpml-issues-unable-to-edit-event-pages-due-to-crushes\/"},"modified":"2017-04-11T19:45:33","modified_gmt":"2017-04-12T02:45:33","slug":"4-4-5-menus-broken-wpml-issues-unable-to-edit-event-pages-due-to-crushes","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/4-4-5-menus-broken-wpml-issues-unable-to-edit-event-pages-due-to-crushes\/","title":{"rendered":"4.4.5: Menus broken; WPML issues; Unable to edit event pages due to crushes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi.<br \/>\nWe\u2019ve recently updated the Events Calendar from 4.2.5 to 4.4.5 and there were a few serious issues.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve purchased Events Pro to receive support but we have not installed the Pro plugin yet as we already have many issues with the free one.<\/p>\n<p>I list them below, and also here is a 10 min demonstration video:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Events Plugin updates 4 4 5 issues\" width=\"580\" height=\"435\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mDOhcSn7fAo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nWould be grateful for any suggestions!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Issue 1 (small):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pull-down menus in the Organizers and Location are broken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Issue 2 (critical):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pull-down menu in a custom coded section is broken:<br \/>\ndifficult to scroll, as the size is limited<br \/>\nnot it\u2019s only possible to choose one item from the menu, while we used to be able to choose multiple.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Issue 3 (critical):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There seems to be a conflict with WPML:<br \/>\nthe custom coded pulldown menu (mentioned in issue 2) allows to select \u201cteam members\u201d and post their profile in the event\u2019s page.<br \/>\nAfter update, strange blank lines appeared in the menu. I confirmed that the blank lines correspond to the Japanese team members.<br \/>\nWhen a blank line is selected as a teem member, a Japanese profile appears in the English event page.
