Since WP is stripping away any tags and shortcodes from the excerpt field by default, we already added the following to the functions.php file:<\/p>\n<pre><code>add_filter( &#039;post_excerpt&#039;, &#039;do_shortcode&#039;);\napply_filters(&#039;post_excerpt&#039;, $p-&gt;post_excerpt);<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>This does not seem to affect the excerpts of the events.
