I have just purchased Events Calendar Pro and I am having some trouble editing the recurring events and exclusions how I would like. The website I am working on is for a museum. We want to be able to list our exhibits as events, but the museum is not open every day of the week. So we want to be able to have date exclusions so that the exhibit does not show up every day of the month on the calendar view. I have tried the option where under “Event Series” I click “Add Multiple Events” and I then type in the time frames for the correct days of the week that the museum is open. However, when I do this, it actually adds events to the list view. So under the month of October, it has the exhibit name listed around 20 times. This is not what I had in mind. Is there not a way to edit a single event and the dates that it is occurring without adding more events under the same name? <\/p>\n
For example: If we have an exhibit titled “Gemstones and Dinosaur Bones” that goes from September 17-December 20, and the museum is only open on Tuesdays-Saturdays, is there not a way to edit the event where the exhibit only shows up on Tuesdays-Saturdays instead of listing the title “Gemstones and Dinosaur Bones” around 50 times?<\/p>\n
