{"id":1223132,"date":"2017-01-24T11:56:40","date_gmt":"2017-01-24T19:56:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/community-events-and-woocommerce-issue\/"},"modified":"2017-01-24T11:56:40","modified_gmt":"2017-01-24T19:56:40","slug":"community-events-and-woocommerce-issue","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/community-events-and-woocommerce-issue\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Events and WooCommerce Issue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,<\/p>\n<p>This is a multiple part-issue I&#8217;m having.<\/p>\n<p>First, the site I&#8217;m developing stopped showing comments, which I traced back to the Community Events plugin (via this support thread: https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/community-events-plugin-disables-comments-2\/). <\/p>\n<p>As recommended, I downgraded all my Event Calendar plugins (Event Calendar, Community Events and Event Calendar Pro) to the 4.3.x versions. The comments are now showing, hooray.<\/p>\n<p>I then went to test the Submit an Event form and was able to submit an event while logged in, but was unable to submit events while not logged in (screenshot attached).<\/p>\n<p>As recommended, I switched to TwentySixteen and disabled all plugins. I was then able to successfully submit events while not logged in to the site. I started reactivating plugins one-by-one and retesting until I found my culprit, WooCommerce.<\/p>\n<p>This makes these plugins essentially useless on my site.
