{"id":1222471,"date":"2017-01-23T10:54:05","date_gmt":"2017-01-23T18:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/asap-does-events-calendar-pro-handle-these-requirements\/"},"modified":"2017-01-23T10:54:05","modified_gmt":"2017-01-23T18:54:05","slug":"asap-does-events-calendar-pro-handle-these-requirements","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/asap-does-events-calendar-pro-handle-these-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"asap &#8212; does Events Calendar pro handle these requirements?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi &#8212; I&#8217;m creating this new website for an upcoming music cooperative which also has a public site (above).<\/p>\n<p>Trying to set up a calendar that has (1) selected calendars visible on the live site, then (2) another &#8220;permission&#8221; back end\/internal calendar view only for those people\/businesses that are granted access by the site owner&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Need to know if the Pro version supports all these things: (and if I can purchase the individual version, and if it&#8217;s a 1-time payment):<\/p>\n<p>They need to be able to:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; administer new events on location in the calendar by their in-house admin &#8212; that publishes to the live calendar featured on their site (also can this be done via their google calendar that updates the event calendar?)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; allow new users (that they permission) access to login to the back-end to create new calendars just for each of themselves (artists, local venues, agents etc)<br \/>\n&gt;&gt;&gt; and, for each of these new group&#8217;s calendars, some may be published on the live site and some only on a unique log-in for designated &#8220;members&#8221; who have been granted access to a particular calendar view only (pass-protected?) to see all venues, artists etc&#8230; but different from what the general site vision sees<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; from the groups above, I&#8217;d like the overall site owner admin to be able to add them to the access &#8212; and set up a unique account, login and calendar view just for that artist, venue etc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; from the groups above, will they have their own unique overview page or calendar view that those who have been &#8220;permissioned&#8221; by the owner to see (i.e. via prepay and agreement) the full  membership calendar view (i.e. a select group that has been permissioned to the internal view , not public-facing)&#8230; that can also be sorted by any of those people who have been permission&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; can each of these groups above be grouped by tags of the owner&#8217;s choosing (i.e. &#8220;artist&#8221;, &#8220;agent&#8221;, &#8220;venue&#8221;, etc &#8212; ) so that visitors can search them on the back end (or front end) by those tags?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; can each of these groups update their calendar externally on their own once permission? i.e. can they go to a page to manually update their calendar? and\/or can they update by their editing their google account (if they have it) on their own and it will populate this event calendar?<\/p>\n<p>Any other advice?<\/p>\n<p>thanks sooo much for any info and tips &#8212; want to make sure I&#8217;m purchasing the calendar that&#8217;s the best for all their needs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-1222471","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>asap - does Events Calendar pro handle these requirements? -<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/asap-does-events-calendar-pro-handle-these-requirements\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"asap - does Events Calendar pro handle these requirements? -\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Hi &#8212; I&#8217;m creating this new website for an upcoming music cooperative which also has a public site (above).
