Just discovered that our client, after adding events to the site we’ve built them, is manually adding them to another site<\/a> (Joomla) she has access to. This is a time consuming duplication of effort.<\/p>\n

So i’ve been looking on your forum\/tech\/KB for info on simply providing the other site a .ics feed from our site.<\/p>\n

I can see you introduced iCal\/Google exports in 3.6 (see here<\/a>) but these seem to be static exports .ics files<\/p>\n

These also some code to export the calendar for 1 year range here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Then there are various posts mentioning providing the feed URL in the format “webcal:\/\/www.etal.org.uk\/events\/ical” or “http:\/\/www.etal.org.uk\/events\/ical” but both of these show errors when validating (see here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Am I missing something in the setup of my events and calendar here<\/a>? What is the recommended method to:<\/p>\n

a) provide a .ics feed for another site to pull in?
\nb) provide visitors a subscribe button on our site for them to subscribe to?
\nc) Can a) and b) be provided for individual\/separate event categories (e.g. webcal:\/\/www.etal.org.uk\/events\/my_category\/ical), or just the single feed for all events?<\/p>\n
