{"id":1178151,"date":"2016-10-17T22:28:34","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T05:28:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/translation-file-not-showing-change-on-front-end\/"},"modified":"2016-10-18T15:16:46","modified_gmt":"2016-10-18T22:16:46","slug":"translation-file-not-showing-change-on-front-end","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/translation-file-not-showing-change-on-front-end\/","title":{"rendered":"Translation File not showing change on front end."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Guys,<\/p>\n<p>I think I may have found a bug in the system so to speak!<\/p>\n<p>With regards to selling tickets for an event, if the event has passed, a message is shown, &#8220;Tickets are not available as this %s has passed.&#8221; I believe the trigger for this is found in \/wp-content\/plugins\/event-tickets\/src\/Tribe\/tickets.php Line 1376<\/p>\n<p>This wording can also be found in the event-tickets translation file so I changed wording to &#8220;Bookings are not available as this %s has passed&#8221; in the event-tickets-en_AU.po file and uploaded it to the wp-content\/languages\/plugins folder<\/p>\n<p>The change is not being reflexed on the front end. All other translations changes are changing but not these messages.<\/p>\n<p>I updated the event-tickets-en_AU.po files from the latest event-tickets.pot file. I&#8217;ve tried using this <a href=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/knowledgebase\/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string\/\" target=\"_blank\">snippet code<\/a> but it didn&#8217;t work either.<\/p>\n<p>I tried getting the change to work on a localhost server with only wordpress, and event calendar, event tickets and event tickets pro using the Avada theme, it didn&#8217;t change the wording.
