Hi! We’re taking on a project for a community library and they want a community\/reservation calendar for the site. We’re wondering if a combination of your premium add-ons for the calendar might be able to get all of things they’re looking for working on the site.<\/p>\n
a. Have an individual or non-profit book one of a few specific rooms in the library for certain days\/times for their events. So people would need to see which events are free\/available and which aren’t. They could submit a reservation (which is then approved by the library staff). But people need to see able to see when certain rooms (venues) are available and when they’re not. In addition to the room, date and time they want, they can select form checkboxes for equipment they might need (DVD player, sound system) and that’s noted on the reservation form.<\/p>\n
b. If a non-profit sets up an account, their events are available to see on the community calendar (basically, they’re role is set to show their events). If an individual sets up an account to reserve rooms, their account is more of a “private” one where their events don’t show up in the community calendar.<\/p>\n
c. Have a community calendar where these events (once approved) can show up. Some of them might be open to the public and would have an open reservation (usually events run by the library themselves), whereas others would be closed off to public reservation (people could still see details on the calendar). Reservations submitted by individuals (mentioned in the second question) would have their events hidden from the calendar.<\/p>\n
None of these systems require any kind of payment processing I don’t believe….so no “tickets” are required I don’t think.<\/p>\n
