Splitting out what I mentioned in the other thread.<\/p>\n
The issue we have is when events exist in English, but have not been translated into other languages – they do not display on the foreign language site.<\/p>\n
The scenario we should have is that if a translation does not exist of a post\/event, the default language version is displayed.<\/p>\n
This works for regular Blog posts, with WPML’s inbuilt functionality.<\/p>\n

So, first and foremost, this doesn’t happen for Event posts. If we switch to French, only posts that have had a French translation added, are displaying.<\/p>\n
I had expected, being that as Events are just a custom post type, that it would work.<\/p>\n
I would say this is the root cause of the problem.<\/p>\n
Possible reason, given in the message under that section of WPML… Our theme is Avada.
