{"id":1162941,"date":"2016-09-12T12:02:58","date_gmt":"2016-09-12T19:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/_eventstartdate-format\/"},"modified":"2016-09-12T12:02:58","modified_gmt":"2016-09-12T19:02:58","slug":"_eventstartdate-format","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/_eventstartdate-format\/","title":{"rendered":"_eventstartdate format"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This topic seems to have been asked quite a few times, but I have yet to find a solution.<\/p>\n<p>When using Revolution Slider you are able to call _EventStartDate to include it in a slider, but it comes through in the format YY\/MM\/DD 00:00:00 rather than a formatted date.<\/p>\n<p>The support team at Revolution Slider suggest it needs resolving from the Events Calendar end as it is the format that it is being supplied in. Ideally we are wanting it to format at 01st Month 1999 format.<\/p>\n<p>This would mean event sliders with a start date could be displayed automatically which would be a massive plus for the Events Calendar.
