Hi there,<\/p>\n

I have been dealing with this issue for a time, browsing forums and the web, but I seems I cannot find the right solution.<\/p>\n

I use the TEC Pro plugin for my agenda in my Jupiter theme. My Jupiter theme has the ability to show related posts below published blog posts as well to use a related posts widget in my sidebar.<\/p>\n

I have activated both options (see below and right side): http:\/\/www.spiritueleverlichting.nl\/de-theorie-praktijk\/totale-kennis-pakket\/zelfonderzoek-wat-is-dat\/ <\/p>\n

However, the only related posts that are shown are events. The default WordPress functionality is that is shows related items from the same category and if there is no related post available in the category, it will use the latest post(s). This is how it should work in theory \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

However, whatever I do, it keeps showing events from the TEC Pro plugin in my non-event posts. I even have the option to choose a category to pick related posts from in my widget, but it keeps showing events. Very frustrating.<\/p>\n

When I disable the plugins TEC and TEC Pro, the problem is gone.<\/p>\n

Is there any way to solve this issue by adding some script to functions.php for example? Or another work-around?<\/p>\n
