Following on from https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/how-to-add-year-long-ical-feed-to-month-view I’ve discovered that the feed doesn’t process the shortcodes embedded in the text of the events like the add to Google Calendar links do for individual events.<\/p>\n

For example the event http:\/\/www.manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk\/whats-on\/meditation-club-3\/ is processed fully before being sent to Google Calendar when I click on the Add to Google Calendar. If I look at the same event in the feed from the main calendar page at http:\/\/www.manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk\/whats-on\/ which is http:\/\/www.google.com\/calendar\/render?cid=http:\/\/www.manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk\/whats-on\/?ical=1%26year-feed=1 I can see shortcodes within the text. The same for all the other events in the feed.<\/p>\n

I’ve also noticed that the iCal Export (.ics) file downloaded from http:\/\/www.manchesterbuddhistcentre.org.uk\/whats-on\/meditation-club-3\/ also doesn’t have the shorcodes processed and I can see them raw in the file and when added to my calendar.<\/p>\n
