{"id":1126539,"date":"2016-06-13T21:42:23","date_gmt":"2016-06-14T04:42:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/changes-in-settings-will-not-save-2\/"},"modified":"2016-06-15T21:37:27","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T04:37:27","slug":"changes-in-settings-will-not-save-2","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/changes-in-settings-will-not-save-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes in settings will not save"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My ticket on this issue has been closed: It was:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"FPomGEd9gv\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/changes-in-settings-will-not-save\/\">Changes in settings will not save<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Changes in settings will not save&#8221; &#8212; \" src=\"https:\/\/theeventscalendar.com\/support\/forums\/topic\/changes-in-settings-will-not-save\/embed\/#?secret=45C5kmXrfJ#?secret=FPomGEd9gv\" data-secret=\"FPomGEd9gv\" width=\"580\" height=\"327\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Sorry, it took me a while to get back to checking it out some more, which I have now done.<\/p>\n<p>As suggested I have installed the plugin on a brand new WP installation and the same issue presents itself &#8211; ie settings changes made in Settings simply refuse to save.<\/p>\n<p>So to summarise what I have done:<\/p>\n<p>a) deactivated all plugins on our site<br \/>\nand changed theme to 2014<\/p>\n<p><strong>b) tried to install EC on a brand new installation with different themes and 2014 and NO OTHER PLUGINS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>c) Tried deactivating EC PRO to see if it is the culprit<\/p>\n<p>The problem presents itself in ALL the above scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>I can only conclude therefore that the plugin is not working with WordPress 4.5.2.
