\nWe are in process of developing a web site using wordpress. Calendar pro looks great and we are considering to buy.
\nScenario : We are working on subscriber model and would like to maintain central repository of events\/calendar. (We want to link our subscriber’s calendar to our web site and share same database.)<\/p>\n
Here is what we are thinking of doing: When subscriber signs up with us, we will assign them a calendar with unique id, and install it on subscriber’s website, (may or may not have wordpress on their site). Configure it and link to central mysql database. Subscriber will login to calendar to create an event on their site, and enter data as appropriate, but data will be entered in central database. If end user wants to check the calendar they can go to our site or subscriber site and pull the same information.
\nQuestions: 1. Is Calendar Pro compatibility with non word press website or it has to have word press installed? If yes what are
\n the minimum requirements and does it cost or is free.
\n 2. Is the Scenario mentioned above is possible?
\n 3. Can each installation have its own username and password for security (would think so.) Just want to make sure.
\n 4. can each installation independently customized colors etc ( we will keep the fields the same to maintain
\n consistency across all installs.
\n 5. Is there a limit on categories of events we can create, can we create sub categories. i.e Music > Classical, Jazz,
\n Rock etc.
\n 6. Do you 30 day free trial for testing?
\n 7. If we decide to go with 3 – 10 site licenses first can we change it to unlimited later depending on the need.
\n 8. Does calendar pro support sending event reminders to list of people entered in the system (load emails address
\n using csv or text file etc.)
