\nI’m using the events plugin with great success – I have a question about ticket descriptions<\/p>\n
I’ve copied tickets.php to my theme so I can edit it….<\/p>\n
I want to add a default description to each ticket as follows<\/p>\n
1. if someone types a description when adding a ticket, show that
\n2. if they leave it blank then show a default message<\/p>\n
ie replace this:
\necho ‘<td class=”tickets_description”>’;
\n\t\t\t\techo $ticket->description;
\n\t\t\t\techo ‘<\/td>’;<\/p>\n
with something like this (in English):<\/p>\n
echo ‘<td class=”tickets_description”>’;
\n\t\t\t\tif DESCRIPTION IS NOT EMPTY {echo $ticket->description}
\n\t\t\t\telse if it is empty then {echo ‘some text’}
\n\t\t\t\techo ‘<\/td>’;<\/p>\n
I tried this:
\necho ‘<td class=”tickets_description”>’;
\n\t\t\t\tif (!empty (post_excerpt) {echo $ticket->description;}
\n\t\t\t\telse {echo ‘hello’}
\n\t\t\t\techo ‘<\/td>’;<\/p>\n
but the only effect it had was to make each single event page blank (So I changed it back :))<\/p>\n
Is this something anyone can help with at all?<\/p>\n
