Here\u2019s a description about our project.<\/p>\n
GOALS:
\n– To build a website for multiple events.
\n– The main event is arranged in every 2 years. In addition there are several smaller \u201cRegional Events\u201d
\n– Event consists of multiple (1-20) simultaneous tracks
\n– Each track is a \u201ccategory\u201d such as Innovation\/Design\/Marketing
\n– The idea of the event is that each participant chooses one track to follow from beginning to end
\n– Each track is 0,5 – 1 days each and consists of multiple sessions (up to 20)
\n– Each session belongs to one track only<\/p>\n
There should be a schedule view to compare, filter and see multiple tracks with one glance.
\nOne example with a pretty much similar track view idea is http:\/\/ec2016.fi\/programme\/ but the site in question does not have filter functions.<\/p>\n

We made an initial analysis about how to approach this and we figured these might be our options.<\/p>\n
1) Finding plugins for the functionality and integrate them to an existing theme
\n2) Finding a theme that supports some or most of our requirements and maybe add a plugin or two if needed.
\n3) 100% Custom work<\/p>\n
Q1 – Does this seem correct to you?<\/p>\n
We searched multiple plugins and found the events calendar pro. My questions are:
\nQ2 – Is ECP able to tackle all of our requirements out of the box?
\nQ3 – If some of the features are missing, what are those features and should they be custom developed or can you suggest some out of the box solutions like 3rd party plugins or something like that?
\nQ4 – How much would it cost if you developed those missing features as plugins?
\nQ5 – Do you have any theme recommendations?<\/p>\n
